Friday - ummmmm

Short one today as I actually have more important things to attend too. I know I know - that seems ridiculous.

First off . . .to The Wizard. I must disagree my friend. It is not "I" messing with the weather. You see my desktop computer is no longer among the living and it ran the weather station. I have not been able to get a new OLD computer yet. Thus - perhaps the reason is that no one is watching the shenanigans mother nature is doing. She is running wild. I can not put up a weather bubble over Columbus.

One comment was "Check out" Columbus Pioneer dot com

On a side note there has been some Columbus Journal bashing and while we can bash the paper let's make sure we do not bash Paul Scharf their editor. He is a nice person and I mean him no harm - all in good fun (at his expense but . . . . what can I say).

Speaking of beer - check out this video.

==============================
By the time you read this it MIGHT have stopped snowing - wait for it. It'll reform and we're not done but my feeling is the 2nd half of this storm is tracking more south then anticipated. The more north you are the less snow you will get.

That is it for today!!

  1. Oh yea! the first post...I would never bash Paul Scharf! He runs around covering so many things! You couldn't pay me enough to do that!
The Columbus pioneer people came to our Main Street meeting last night...they seem very nice and excited to be a part of the community. This will be very interesting- look for their first issue next Thursday. Hopefully you will have an article in it Rod!
DJ and I have been All My children fans for many years..any history you can dig up on that would be fun!

  4. North of the ILL line!!!

GOOD news though - there might be an Albert Clipper zipping in Tuesday that would push the COLD back north!

  6. Great blog as always Rod! I blame the snow on you!!! Just kidding LOL

    Thanks for the news Kitty!

I hope the paper thing works out well.

Drive safe everyone. We've had about 3-4 inches in Waukesha today...so not too bad compared to the 12+ in December!

  7. Ahh Heineken, the skunk beer... At least that's what it smells like to me! LOL

Thanks for that tracking south bit. They told us 1-3 yesterday and we got about 6, and 1-3 overnight... well it's 3am and it looks like we have almost that much again and no let-up yet. It is sooo beautiful though. Nice light fluffy snow that I'm pretty sure I won't mind moving around a bit later! LOL (If the sun shows up while I'm at it so much the better!)

Have a great weekend all, I'm off to splash some paint around in my kitchen...

  10. Did everyone see Johnny last night at the Golden Globe Awards? He really needed to get that hair out of his face! But, Mickey Rourke was worse! Creepy....

  12. I saw him!!! Yay!!!
And a plug for Public Enemies.
He gets so nervous on a stage..
He did need to keep his hair away from his face..

Mickey Rourke? Yikes! To much Botox!
At least someone gave him a chance. Hopefully this time he will keep on the straight and arrow.
