WOW - that's the longest I've ever gone without a blog! I'll just jump right in like I never left off.

Coming to work there was an ambulance behind us and all 4 lanes pulled over into one lane. It reminded me that the most dangerous time on the road is in the wake of an ambulance as the waves of cars crash back to center and try to get continue on their original path. It's always chaos.

But the big news in my life is the addition of "my precious" an iPhone. Since they are only $100 now I decided to make the jump into 3G. My buddy's adubua and Jason were the catalyst last Wednesday as we were golfing and they had their weather radars! OH MAN - being a weather geek I was drooling and it put me over the top.
----
I had my buddy Elweed up Saturday to put in (start) a rock walk way (which turned out GREAT . . more on that later this week) next to our patio and we were cruising the country with 250 pounds of stepping stones and looking for a nursery. I had my Tom Tom AND my GPS in my iPhone and he commented about NEVER getting lost again.
Where was this 30 years ago.
One time we were invited to a party but it was like 35 miles away in some other county and Elweed was the only guy who know where to go. Not a problem. He navigated us to the party and all was good. But then when it was time to leave it was like one in the morning and little did we know that Elweed and swallowed a Valium about an hour before we left. All was good for 15 minutes until we came to a crossroads and as we ask Elweed which way to go . . . . he was half way between incoherent and sound asleep.
He did that a lot.
One time "the gang" was going to a fish fry at a bar in Fort Atkinson. It was GREAT fish and we all got blasted before hand AND continued blasting in the bar. We all ordered and before we were finished Elweed was literally face down in the fish!
As we were playing pool he came too and commented "THAT WAS THE BEST CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD".
Back to GPS and radar . . . I picked up Golfshot GPS for the myPhone and did 9 holes yesterday. I am totally impressed in a very geeky way. The one thing was I was able to actually see how far OR short I was driving the ball. As luck would have it I had one drive that COULD have been my longest ever - 278 yards straight own the middle. It looked like one of adobua's drives off the club. It just KEPT GOING!! My next dive was 252 - WOW - I'M A GOD! Then as I was pumped up my next drive was 110. Back to reality! Almost made the fairway!
Speaking of radar - check out Sundays May Fly hatch along the Mississippi river! The May Flys are in purple. After the bugs hatch off the water and river areas, they were caught in the south-southeast winds while airborne for about 10-20 minutes.
June is the 2nd wettest month of the year and it looks like it's going to start off wet with a cold front approaching. Remember June 2 years ago? A little wet then also.

While up in Door County I was surprised at how many people know about Columbus. Seems everybody knew about Johnny Depp, or lived in the area once or knew someone that came from Columbus/FR area. It's certainly NOT an unknown town. So while some might say that Public Enemies cost the town money it sure did put us on the map.
ALSO - today is our 4th Anniversary of moving to Columbus!

On a more personal level I'm getting the final details ready for my 1st Art Fair in Portage and as I was getting everything all set up I see I'm short prints! I might have to grab some from the West James Gallery for a weekend! OOPS - the problem is this is unknown territory for me. I don't have a clue want is good or bad so I don't want to order duplicates of garbage. GULP!!!!
OK - gotta run - I have WORK!!!
