What happened to the Atlanta Braves is hilarious

A few days ago members of the St. Louis Cards mentioned that they thought the tomahawk chop that Atlanta Braves fans do was distasteful as the Cards have an American Indian on their team.

The Braves organization tried to defuse this by saying they would not give away foam tomahawk axes for the final game on the playoffs and asked the fans to be respectful.

So, yesterday the game starts and on the 2nd pitch of the game the entire stadium erupts with the Indian war song and everybody is chopping with their hands.

What happened is outstanding.

St. Louis at bat

walk
sac bunt
single
single
error
walk
double
walk
walk
double
double

so there is only 1 out and the Cards have scored 9 runs IN THE FIRST INNING

strikeout - HOWEVER - catcher misses pitch and runner scores and batter reach's 1st
ground out - inning over

And the tomahawk chant was  never seen again.

DROP THE MIC!  Braves lose 13-1

Then last night in LA .  Dodgers are up by 2 and the starting pitcher is tired after throwing 100+ pitches so they bring in Clayton Kershaw, perhaps the greatest pitcher of our generation.  His job is to retire 2 and only 2 batters as their bullpen will take over.

Three pitches, two batters and 2 home runs, game is tied and the Dodgers go on to lose with a grand slam in the 10th inning.

MEANWHILE - I feel I am like a cat.  Cats seem to live 15 years trouble free and then BAM, hundreds of dollars in vet bills and then they die anyway.

So here I am living a pretty trouble free life enjoying my health (well except for cancer and rheumatic fever) when out of the blue my big toe is an issue and then my left knee decides it's had enough so I need to have a TKR and BECAUSE my left leg was basically dead for a month I had to use my left shoulder ALL THE TIME to lift my body up to roll over, 10 times a night for a month.

What happened?  I now have adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder - also called "frozen shoulder".   I literally can not raise my left arm. I'm a living version of Quasimodo.

F ME!!!

Adhesive capsulitis is a painful and disabling disorder of unclear cause in which the shoulder capsule, the connective tissue surrounding the glenohumeral joint of the shoulder, becomes inflamed and stiff, greatly restricting motion and causing chronic pain. Pain is usually constant, worse at night, and with cold weather. Certain movements or bumps can provoke episodes of tremendous pain and cramping. The condition is thought to be caused by injury or trauma to the area and may have an autoimmune component.

I'll be dead in a year.  KIDDING!!  Anything else?  I might as well get my flu shot in that arm as it hurts ANYWAY!  See?  There is always a bright side.

I have a DR appointment in 2 weeks - again - will health care for all make this faster?  I doubt it with a tremendous DR and nurse shortage already.

I was looking out the window yesterday and caught some what I believe are pterodactyl's.

Then this morning Gus the Weather Dog jumps up and is barking at the door.  ROBINS!  Eight of them in our front yard.  I have no idea what a Robin did you him but he hates Robins.

Yesterday the High in Denver was 89 degrees - this morning its 26. It's coming our way!  Going to be c c c c cold and VERY windy at the Badger game.

It's really hard to put a LOT of stock into the impeachment polls as it all depends how the question is asked.  But FOX had a poll and it seems the majority of Americans believe its' time to impeach the Mad King.  However if you take all the polls and combined them 49.2% of Americans are pro impeach while 43.3% are against.

In the last 2 weeks the numbers have GREATLY risen.  2 weeks ago  8.1% of Republicans were for impeachment and now it's 13.7%.  Remember - it took a long time for the GOP to abandon Nixon but they did.    If/when they flip it will be all at once.

At this point this is the most popular impeachment ever.
