Depp, Bale and Mann Talk ‘Public Enemies’ In New Featurette

=============================
Ever get behind a large Mini Van or truck in traffic and you are just slogging along going 5 mph under the speed limit but since you are in traffic you just endure?

Then after 6 or 7 blocks you decide to pass the slow moving vehicle and find out there is NOBODY in front of him and there really is NO traffic at all? Just one of life's little headaches. Didn't have to deal with THAT in the 1700s!
====================================

Check out the online Isthmus in the coming weeks - I'm having an article about Columbus. I have it all written but have to add the fact that an Independent (Indie) film company was in Cbus checking it out for a movie. I wonder if they were interested in the strip mall location out by the highway. We better build that up more.
====================================

So late last night Jenny wanted photos of the their baby shower that I took and I made them all web worthy and zipped about 20 into a file and sent it. Problem was MAC's don't have WINZIP? Do they at least have MACZIP?
=======================

Before that happened it was about 8:00 last night and I looked outside and the clouds were pretty interesting. Being a so called photographer, lighting is everything and I've been trying to get a good unique photo of Mullins Drive-In. I tell DJ I have to run out and she says let's get an ice cream cone from McDonald's (they are cheap and not full of fat). We cruise to Mullins and see the Mark Jensen family eating (or just sitting there hanging out - not sure which) and I take some photos and DJ says we really should get the ice cream cone at Mullins since we are in their parking lot.

We order small cones and in a little while we are both sitting in the car with cones that I believe each have 2 pints of ice cream in each come. We start slurping at them but now I can no longer take photos as I'm one handed. We drive home and DJ has eaten about one pint of hers and is feeling sick but I manage to eat the entire thing but my arm is tired from the weight.

Back in the house DJ is laying on the couch sick and shivering from the cold and I'm a little cold from my entire 2 pints of ice cream and I realize I not only hate myself but I'm also disgusted with myself and now I can not eat for two days as I've just inhaled 8000 calories.

I did get one photo though.

Earlier in teh day I spot Milo who really likes being able to go outside during the day now.

I brewed up some Porter and realized when I went into the basement that I have way way to much beer. More then I can possibly drink and still stay out of AA. I have a lot of random bottles of beer. I should count them to see how many I actually have. Realizing I have way way to much beer I immediately start making plans for my next. The One Putt Twelve IPA. Something I have noticed is that heavy hop brews don't age as well as I expected. I must drink the rest this week.

Sean's West Coast Blaster is not as . . . sharp as it was. I like the younger versions of hoppy brews better.

Sunday morning I took a lot of photos of the progress of all of my plants - I'll have to post some at some point - not very exciting. I did take photos of a weed or a perennial - I don't know which.

Jenny's baby shower was a success. I won't post many photos as I'll let her post them on her blog. However this is one of my favorites.

The Wood Fairy Family

and Josh wondering how the hell he is goign to fit into his new overalls.

And I took a photo of Blazeinfire

So Saturday morning while I we were waiting for the baby shower I cruised around looking for photo opps and realized I had never taken a photo of Columbus!!!

I also had never gone into the F & M Bank so I walked in and was not surprised that it was really was a cool building. I talked to a wonderful woman, Anita, and she gave me a little tour. Sadly I left most of the photos on my laptop but I do have this one I can show.

Driving home I went past Frank Porth Chevrolet-Buick (Good People to Turn To). If you have any questions a woman who might or might not look like this will answer all of your questions. I'm going to call her later to see if she can find my sock.

What I did see was that the 2010 CAMARO IS HERE!!! The 2010 Camaro has just arrived and is ready for you come out and take for a drive!! They still have sold orders to fill so hurry and get your order in today!!

I took some photos of the car and I have to think that after a test drive they should give a cool framed photo to the person who was test driving. Let them stare at the photo overnight and they will come running back the next day with a suitcase of cash.

Seriously - if I had a car dealership I would take GOOD photos of all of the hot vehicles (hint).

Friday afternoon we went to Gotham Bagles for lunch and I could not resist taking a shot.

And FINALLY Friday morning I was walking to work and the trees were so pretty in front of me - the light was perfect. So in my minds eye I looked behind me in envisioned what I would see. Liking it I turned around. Took a few steps left and right and waited for the guy in the distance to get closer. SNAP!

And that was my 3 days.

Have a great Monday - crappy weather coming Tuesday!

  1. Wo-ow-wow! Great pics, great clip, great ideas!

    That Camaro looks suspiciously close to a Mustang. I hate it when they copy other cars.

    (I'm not sure if I'm speaking to you yet after you opted to keep driving away the other day)!

    ;)

  9. I've been to 4 Brewers games this past month (May) and 3 were at Miller Park (the other was in Minnesota which was a really bad game); anyway, I believe they have the new Camaro on the warning track. When I get to all my pictures from this past Saturdays game I will have to send some of the pictures to you if I don't forget. But the one they have there looks really really sharp. Plus it's in red too which makes it look really really sporty.
