Revolving Pizza Stores!

Well, at least it's a warm rain..... hmmmmm well . . at least my hair will be soft and velvety WHEN IT DRYS!! At least my lawn will grow FASTER and give the mosquitoes more room to hide. At least it's Wednesday and I golf today.

HAPPY 70th BIRTHDAY Ringo Starr.

--------------------------

Chedder Heads Pizza - located where Marc's Brothers used to be. Seems the Marc's Brothers pizza used frozen crusts. The new owners helped Pizza Shack open (but not close) and are using their FRESH crusts on all pizza while using the old Marc's Bros pizza recipe.

12 inch for $10 unlimited toppings is a pretty good deal - the pizza was tasty but there was a lack of onions on the Pepperoni, onion and fresh mushroom pizza. The crust was very very good (like Pizza Shack). The new owners are fixing the place up and have a new floor and are getting a larger dough maker. They seem serious.

A friend of mine was prescribed lithium so I was looking it up! Did you know that Coca Cola once had a product called Lithia Coke and was a mixture of Coca Cola syrup and lithia water. Also 7-Up was originally called "Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda" and contained lithium citrate until it was reformulated in 1950.

Sort of a catchy name for a soda "Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda"  I wonder why it did not catch on.   It was launched 2 weeks before the Wall Street Crash of 1929 and was marketed as a hangover cure. Lithium was removed from 7-Up in 1950.

OH OH - people are complaining about their computers and I see I only have one icon - the Recycle bin! hmmmmmm SAVE SAVE!!

-------------------------------------------

I watched a good movie this past weekend called "Breach" - in a nutshell - Soon after landing a plum job working for FBI operative Robert Hanssen (Chris Cooper), young agency employee Eric O'Neill (Ryan Phillippe) learns he's been brought in to spy on his boss, who's suspected of selling secrets to the Soviets. But can O'Neill handle such an important assignment with so little field experience, or will Hanssen get to him first? Laura Linney and Dennis Haysbert co-star in this high-stakes thriller based on a true story.

Excellent movie and true story.

Here is another photo from our patio.

I found a photo of my gardens from 7/20/2009 and it looks like our yard is about 3 to 4 weeks ahead of schedule - I know my YARD is ahead of schedule.

As I was trying to take photos on the Clay Garden this little guy came along and posed.

Have a glorious Wednesday

  2. Chris Cooper and Laura Linney-- what's not to love?

Have to share our pizza story from day before yesterday. Ordered a cheese pizza with pepperoni on half from Day One. When I got home, I took a look: there were TWO SLICES of pepperoni! Yes, two of the eight slices had a single circle of pepperoni. It was hysterical to the person who didn't want the pepperoni.

  3. and of course you know that Coca-cola had cocaine @ one time

Being a southerner we refer to all what you call soda pop or pop as 'COKE'-a generic word to us like calling all tissues 'kleenex'
