That's all I'm going to say on that subject . . . at the moment.

OK - maybe this - I was born 6 weeks premature. My mom was taking the dog out on January 25 after an ice storm. Dog see's squirrel, dog tries to chase squirrel, dog pulls mom onto ground, Rod says "THAT'S IT - I'M GETTING OUT OF HERE!!"

Nuff said - at the moment.

I got pissed off about a month ago driving to work. There was a truck pulled over ahead of us and all the vehicles on the highway moved over to the left to give him room, EXCEPT one guy that passed me on the right as I was going past the vehicle with it's blinkers on. MAN people are stupid.

Very sad what happened on 151 yesterday. Stupid Pick-up driver! Pisses me off.

On another note - WHAT WERE THEY THINKING. Two kids in Penn Park are approached by Police and they get nervous so they instinctively put there hands in their pants where there semiautomatic BB gun is? Yea - nice gene pool there!

My neighbor found out her dog could hardly hear so she took it to the veterinarian. He found that the problem was hair in its ears. He cleaned both ears and the dog could hear fine.

The vet then proceeded to tell her that if she wanted to keep this from recurring she should go to the store and get some "Nair" hair remover and rub it in the dog's ears once a month.

The lady goes to the drug store to get some "Nair" hair remover. At the register the druggist tells her, "If you're going to use this under your arms, don't use deodorant for a few days."

She says: "I'm not using it under my arms."

The druggist says: "If you're using it on your legs, don't shave for a couple of days."

She says: "I'm not using it on my legs either; if you must know, I'm using it on my schnauzer."

The druggist says: "Stay off your bicycle for a week."

Lots of questions.

If you ONLY want to go to the movie and hang out with Columbus people and only want to pay $9. Forget it. To put it bluntly - this is a fund raiser for Main Street Org and we're taking the gamble of renting a theater hoping we can sell 240 tickets. SO - the cheapest way would be to fork out the $20 for the non-bus tickets.

On the other hand. There have bee inquiries about attending the after movie party and NOT seeing the movie. Not sure what to say there. Something can be worked out with a small donation I suppose. Remember, we're not FEEDING you, this is not a full fledged supper, just nibbling things with something to wash it down and good talk.

On a side note I see NBC15 talked about Columbus last night.

My GOOD garden is a mystery. I have things coming up that do not look like what they SHOULD be. My New England Astor's look like they failed me but then where the clump is I have something coming up, BUT, it does not look like what I see ah Jungs.

Then I have the gaillardia. Something is coming up where they were but . . . . are they gaillardia? Are they weeds??

Since this garden is a summer/fall bloomer is it normal for things to JUST be coming up?

Here it is as of June 1 2009. The red flowers are annuals I planted. The faux gaillardia are bottom right.

This is what it looked like late last July. Now remember last year was the 1st year and everything I planted was from pots. This is the 1st non-pot year so I'm not experienced with how things SHOULD look.


The clay garden is doing great!!

I'm just surprised that the garden with thebest soil in the world is being so slow.
