If Radio Shack is now, "The Shack" and Pizza Hut is thinking of changing it's name to "The Hut" and Gatorade is now just "G" perhaps it's time I change my name to something like "The Rod". I already figured that once I became a black rapper I would change my name to Kay Why Jelly! Sort of a catchy name don't cha think.

Another Historic Building to Feel the Sweet Sting of the Wreaking Ball has to be the longest Title so far. I started typing and just could not stop.

Like a phoenix rising from the flames the Cenex structure, with it's beautiful electrochemically enhanced exterior will be destroyed like a puppy purchased by PETA.

Of course this would not have happened if the Columbus Dome would have been erected and the evil dihydrogen oxide (often used as a fire extinguishing agent) had not been allowed to come contact with the facade (I believe I will start a campaign to ban all dihydrogen oxide from the world**).

** did you know that nearly all beverages contain some amount of this potentially
dangerous chemical compound.

Look at what this evil chemical has done to the once magnificent building that is lovingly called "The blight on the north side of town" and with teary eyes "That piece of sh*t rust bucket".


For how many years have other industry leaders looked fondly at the Cenex/Land O Lakes building and said "My God, I'm glad my building does not look like that" and soon it will be gone and their buildings will no longer be that much better. They will just blend in with other metal buildings.

No longer will CEO's have "ol rusty" to kick around. Yet another historic relic from the past will wave by by to the town it loved and now travelers from the north will focus their eyes not on "ol rusty" but on the beautiful McDonalds sign which draws weary travelers into the outskirts of Columbus.

I hope it's imploded like a Las Vegas Casino OR better yet demolished like this building in Turkey - I would PAY to see this happen.

Anybody else see Defying Gravity Sunday night. I thought it was pretty good. WHAT is Beta and was there an Alpha? Whats that baby sound and why is Beta "running" the mission and what does it want. 2001 Space Odyssey meets Grays Anatomy meets LOST. Very intriguing space drama.
