OH - Hello.

I was just looking at Nick Mason's (drummer of a local band called Pink Floyd - I think they will be a hit) car collection. The one he still likes to race is a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO

There are only 36 and each one is unique (thus I will not buy one as it might be hard to fix at the local Columbus Ferrari shop - perhaps Wise Guys?).

Mason purchased this one for $62 million but that was before the price went up.  I guess he got a deal on it.  My question is how much can it tow and how big is the trunk space.

The GOP is always boasting  their failed "Trickle Down" Theory.  It's been tried so many times in the past and failed.   In the 1890s it was called the "Horse and Sparrow" theory.  An older and less elegant theory which says:

'If you feed the horse enough oats, some will pass through to the road for the sparrows."

Everybody should know though, if you feed the horse more oats, it just gets fatter.

Meanwhile in Indiana - last week it was a felony for a place like Pay Day Loans to have 72% interest rates.  SO, there was a bill, backed by 60 consumer advocacy groups going threw their GOP run government to lower the percent to 35% interest rates. 

It failed by a huge margin.  SO! what did the GOP do?  They passed a bill allowing Pay Day Loans to INCREASE the percent to 99% AND, if the loan is between $605 - $1,500 they can raise the rates to 192% 

"It will build a bridge for people who don't qualify for traditional loans".

The GOP - always helping the poor get out of debt to help good businesses survive.

The Oaks purchased Kestrel Ridge and I have been talking to the guys that made the deal and Individual #2 who they dealt with.  "He sure did not put ANY money into the course" and "the front door fell off".

I have already talked to them about public urination in front of our backyard which was common and the old owners did not care to fix. Now if we can get the drunks to stop playing and driving their cards through the sand traps.

It's a good deal for us guys in Kestrel Ridge.

I sit here in my warm house drinking a Guatemalan dark roast watching the carpenters working in -3 degree weather.

this week - "they start to go vertical"    The base is all fixed for more weight, wider stairs.

OH - COFFEE.  My experiment with the uber expensive JBC Award winning coffee comes to an end.  Bang for buck - FOR ME - not worth $16 for 12oz which is ridiculous.  All their coffee have a flowery aspect which I really did not appreciate as much as I shout.

So we purchased some Steep & Brew Colombian and it is so much better and MUCH cheaper.

But my brain has been on baseball all weekend as this is regular draft time.  The Free Agent draft is over and now all the rookies and players that were dumped are available and I need 19 of them.

The only hole right now is catching but just like MLB - quality second basemen are in HUGE demand.  3 of the top 6 players drafted were 2B.   I went with 2 100 inning starters.

The Orville - HOLY CRAP - what an amazing show when they get serious.  Very adult-like and kind of creepy.  I tell ya - The Orville and Star Trek are neck an neck of IF I could only watch one - I'm not sure who I would pick.   The Orville is actually more violent with greater graphics and so REALLY interesting views that you talk about after the show.

The robot alien was actually learning about humans and turned and started throwing crew mates into the airlock and dumping them in space - alive.  Sort of terrorizing actually.

Weather - pretty sure this will be the coldest day for the next 11 months. It will get warmer every day up to Sunday.  38 and rain in the late afternoon Saturday  Showers and 36 on Sunday and upper 30s after that.   Just get through today
